Over my time as a student at UWM, I noticed a lot of problems with the name of our athletics program that frankly don’t exist in 95% of the country. While Elon may be small, Elon will always be Elon. While UW-Madison may be a hyphen school, their athletics program will always be Wisconsin.
This is my argument that we as a university need to commit to the “Milwaukee” brand for our intercollegiate athletics program.
