Green Bay tip time may change

A Packers playoff game could change our tip time.

While we are very divided on the court, many fans of the Milwaukee Panthers and Green Bay Phoenix will have a rooting interest in the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Lambeau Field against the Chicago Bears.  Should the Packers win, they will likely play on January 8th in a night game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This isn’t set in stone, but the possibility is that the Packers game time will go up against the time of the Milwaukee-Green Bay basketball game on the same day.  Such an important rivalry game would find far fewer in attendance at the Resch Center as both teams’ fans would be forced to choose between the NFL and NCAA.

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay athletics department, on their website, has noted that the game time against Milwaukee on January 8th will change to 1 p.m. should the Green Bay Packers make the playoffs.

Keep your eyes peeled on Sunday night, when the NFC playoff picture is set.
