Mark Miller of WisHoops.net is reporting that Paul Jesperson will be making his collegiate decision tonight at 8:15 p.m. in his hometown. Miller was told of Jesperson’s plans by Jason Jesperson, the brother of the Merrill senior.
As reported in many places, Jesperson will choose between a sizable number of schools, with the front-runners being Notre Dame and Virginia. The home state Milwaukee Panthers could be a landing spot for Jesperson, but it seems that he prefers to leave the state of Wisconsin for his college career.
Milwaukee is holding out hope that one of the top Wisconsin players in the 2011 class decides to stay in-state and play for coach Rob Jeter.
Jesperson was not only recruited by the Panthers in the Horizon League, but also Butler, Loyola, and Green Bay, with Butler offering a scholarship most recently.
